Warranty Information

Built to Last

At Antex Dive, our equipment is designed and built for demanding underwater environments. Every speargun and piece of gear is carefully inspected before leaving our workshop.

Spearfishing equipment operates in harsh conditions such as saltwater, pressure, sunlight, and mechanical stress. Because of this, proper use and maintenance are essential for long-term reliability.

Our warranty policy is designed to ensure that customers are protected against manufacturing or material defects, while also encouraging responsible use and care of the equipment.

Warranty Period

Different products may have different warranty periods.

24-month warranty

  • Rift spearguns
  • Omega spearguns
  • other premium speargun models

12-month warranty

  • Balkan Sling
  • wetsuits
  • selected entry-level or basic products

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase, as indicated on the invoice or order confirmation.

Products Covered by Warranty

The warranty applies to defects in materials or manufacturing for the following components:

  • speargun body / frame
  • trigger mechanism
  • speargun components and accessories
  • wetsuits

The warranty does not apply to:

  • shafts (spears)
  • rubber bands
  • dyneema lines and cords
  • other consumable components

Consumable parts are expected to wear during normal use and therefore are not covered by warranty unless a defect is clearly present upon delivery or immediately after unpacking.

What the Warranty Covers

This warranty covers:

  • manufacturing defects
  • material defects
  • mechanical failure under normal and intended use

In certain cases, this may include failure of rubber components that occurs during normal use and not due to wear, cuts, or external damage.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • normal wear and tear
  • rubber band wear or cuts
  • corrosion caused by improper maintenance
  • improper loading or misuse
  • modifications or unauthorized alterations
  • impact damage
  • improper storage
  • leaving equipment exposed to extreme sunlight or heat
  • neglect or poor maintenance

Equipment that has been modified may have its warranty voided.

Warranty Claim Requirements

To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must provide:

  • order number
  • proof of purchase (invoice)
  • description of the issue
  • clear photos of the problem (min. 6 detailed photos)

For certain issues, we may request video documentation to better understand the problem.

Warranty Claim Process

  1. Contact us through the Contact page.
  2. Provide order number, photos (6), and description of the issue.
  3. We review the case and determine the best solution.

Depending on the situation, we may:

  • send a replacement part
  • repair the product
  • replace the product
  • issue a refund or store credit

All warranty decisions are made at our discretion after reviewing the claim.

Product Return for Warranty Inspection

In some cases, photos or videos are sufficient to verify the issue.

If necessary, we may request that the product be returned for inspection.

The need for product return will be determined case by case based on the nature of the defect.

Shipping for Warranty Claims

If a warranty claim is approved:

  • we will cover the shipping cost to our workshop
  • we will also cover shipping back to the customer

If the issue is determined not to be covered under warranty, return shipping costs may apply.

Warranty Limitations

Our warranty covers the repair or replacement of defective products only.

We are not responsible for indirect damages, loss of equipment, or damage resulting from improper use of the product.

Proper Use & Safety

Spearfishing equipment must be used responsibly and according to its intended purpose.

A speargun should never be loaded outside of the water, and the spear should only be installed when the equipment is ready to be used safely.

Improper handling or unsafe use may result in injury or damage and will void the warranty.

Maintenance Recommendations

Proper maintenance significantly extends the lifespan of spearfishing equipment.

After each use:

  • rinse all equipment thoroughly with fresh water
  • remove salt, sand, and debris
  • allow equipment to dry completely

Spearguns should be stored:

  • in a dry environment
  • away from excessive heat or extreme cold
  • away from direct sunlight

Additional recommendations:

  • never store the speargun with bands under tension
  • remove the shaft during storage and transport
  • do not store the speargun inside wet bags or humid environments
  • avoid storing equipment while compressed or bent
  • wetsuits should be hung properly and not folded under pressure

Rubber bands should be regularly inspected and replaced when signs of wear appear.

Proper care ensures optimal performance and prevents unnecessary damage.

Transfer of Warranty

The warranty may be transferred to a second owner only if the original proof of purchase is provided, including the order number or invoice.
